History
Coming from a line of ranchers and bullfighters, the bulls from the Maria Antonia de la Serna fighting bull farm are characterized by having a varied coat. Its earliest origin is from the cattle of Marques de Valdueza, augmented with cows and a stallion from Santa Coloma. The most iconic coat of livestock is the black horn and fur, in addition to the characteristic
crimson or black pronghorn.
The fighting bull farm is located in Finca El Bosque and offers guided tours and small or large events and even bullfighting courses.
Experience description
It offers guided tours lasting between 60 and 90 minutes with no minimum number of people all year round, but with group prices starting at 10. Visits can be by all-terrain vehicle and trailer. For groups of 30 people or more, it offers a complete experience that includes a guided tour, interaction with a bullfighter, bullfighting course and picnic. It also organizes visits for children, as well as various events such as fairs, weddings and birthdays, with a wide range of additional services available, such as bouncy castles, catering and more.
The experience will allow to learn up close about the breeding and handling of fighting bulls, from when they are newborn until their arrival to the bullrings under the care of the rancher. Visitors will be able to observe the tasks of the foreman and, during the breeding season, witness new
births and the placement of the ear tag on the calves. The tour can be done in a 4×4 vehicle for people with reduced mobility.
On each visit there is a homemade Spanish country appetizer. The guided
tour package includes countryside traditional food and an introductory bullfighting course. The food offering varies according to tastes and the season, from appetizers and paella to caldereta stew or cocido stew. It also offers catering service for personalized events such as birthdays, baptisms, communions or weddings.
