HIERRO & DIVISA
History
The El Alamo fighting bull farm was founded in 1983 by Mr. Modesto Bargueño Cazorla, who began with a total of 120 cows and 3 stallions from the Carlos Nuñez fighting bull farm. It gained recognition on March 20, 1988, after fighting a full novillada at the Plaza de Toros Las Ventas de Madrid.
In 1991, the cattle were moved from Jaen to Colmenar Viejo (Madrid), where the farm continues its activities to this day. After the death of the breeder Mr. Modesto Bargueño in 2010, his daughter, Nuria Bargueño, took over the management of the fighting bull farm.
Currently, the farm has a total of 90 cows and 6 stallions, continuing its commitment to the breeding and selection of fighting cattle.
