Caras Blancas Fighting Bull Farm

HIERRO & DIVISA

History

The El Carpio estate, located in Arganda del Rey, was acquired in 2020 from the bullfighter Julian Lopez “El Juli.” Its name refers to its owner and livestock breeder Julian Gomez Carpio, who also owns the Bellalucia brand on an estate in Fuentidueña del Tajo. The latter estate became too small, prompting him to purchase a larger 30-hectare estate to continue his Caras Blancas de Carpio project. This estate is located at Exit 22 of the A-3, near the Jarama River.

Today, it has 140 breeding cows with their respective calves and sires.

Experience description

Visits are offered to the different enclosures to learn about the history of the livestock, see the different types of stallions that make up the fighting bull farm and view the various types of coat within this new project.

It is also possible to feed the animals as long as they are receptive and with caution, it is important to not forget that they are wild cattle. It may also be possible to have the opportunity to bottle-feed calves abandoned by their mothers, provided there are any available at the time of the visit.

During the tour, visitors will have the opportunity to visit the enclosures housing the breeding cows along with their calves. The sires will also be visited to discover all the stages of development of the distinguished fighting bulls.

In addition to offering a unique experience touring the fields to encounter the bulls, the estate provides the opportunity to enjoy an exquisite selection of typical Spanish and Mediterranean cuisine.
