The fighting bull farm was founded by Mr. Julian Hernando in 1860. After several generations of breeders, in 1978, they acquired a brand from the Union de Criadores de Toros de Lidia belonging to Juan Guardiola Soto, thus starting the current Los Eulogios fighting bull farm.
In the late 1980s, they began acquiring breeding bulls of Domecq lineage from various sources, including Luis Algarra, Victoriano del Río, Felipe Lafita, and Javier Camuñas, among others.
The visits begin with a welcome and a snack, followed by observation of the cattle and the bulls (optional). Then, in El Pecao Mortal, a test with a bullfighter takes place, which is the opportunity to witness a professional test. Afterwards, there is a cocktail party in the trophy room to learn more about the history of the fighting bull farm, followed by food. Visits are available all year round, last 2 hours and are suitable for groups of 30 to 60 people, including visits for children and schools. Various means of transportation are offered: on foot, by all-terrain vehicle, trailer and bus.
The tour begins with the observation of the mother cows and their calves in the enclosures, followed by the viewing of the erales (2 year old bulls), where visitors can witness the birth and the fate of the calves are decided according to their gender: either testing them or raise them to become erales (2 year old cattle), utreros (3 year old cattle), steers and finally bulls. This process allows to understand the evolution and life cycle of brave bulls, from their birth to their preparation for the fight.
Visitors will have the opportunity to enjoy a variety of local products while tasting the house specialty: el cocido. In addition, various tasting menus are offered that allow to explore the gastronomic wealth of the region. This culinary experience complements the visit, offering participants the true taste of the land and its culinary tradition.
